10+2 (B.TECH) CADET ENTRY SCHEME (PERMANENT COMMISSION)


The Indian Navy offers a B.Tech Cadet entry program for unmarried male candidates who have completed their 10+2 education with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as their main subjects. Candidates must also have a minimum of 70% aggregate marks in the subjects mentioned above.

ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS

1. Educational Qualification. Passed Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 Pattern) or its equivalent examination from any Board with at least 70% aggregate marks in Physics,
Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) and at least 50% marks in English (either in Class X or Class XII).

2. Who can Apply. Candidates who have appeared for JEE (Main) - 2022 exam (for B.E/ B. Tech). Call up for Service Selection Board (SSB) will be issued on the basis of JEE (Main)
All India Common Rank List (CRL) - 2022 published by NTA.

3. Medical Standards/ Relaxation in Height and Weight/ Tattoo. All candidates recommended by SSB are required to undergo medical examination applicable to 10+2 (B Tech) entry.
Guidelines for medical standards are available on the Indian Navy website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in. There is no relaxation in medical standards on any grounds. Change of medical
hospital/centre is not permissible under any circumstances.

SELECTION PROCEDURE.

(a) IHQ MoD (Navy) reserves the right to fix the cut off for shortlisting of applications for SSB based on JEE (Main) All India Common Rank List (CRL) - 2022. All
candidates are required to fill their Rank as per Common Rank List (CRL) in the application. SSB interviews for shortlisted candidates will be scheduled at Bangalore/ Bhopal/
Kolkata/ Visakhapatnam from Mar 2023 onwards.

(b) Shortlisted candidates will be informed about their selection for SSB interview through e-mail and SMS (provided by candidates in their application form). Candidates are
advised not to change their e-mail/ mobile number till selection process is over.

(c) Change of SSB Centre for examination/ interview is not permissible under any circumstances.

(d)Candidates are to download the call up letter on receiving intimation from IHQ MoD (N) via SMS/email (provided by candidate in their application). Any correspondence regarding
change of SSB dates should be addressed to the call up officer of the concerned SSB on receipt of call up letter.

(e) No compensation is admissible in case of any injury sustained as a result of tests during SSB interviews.

(f) AC 3 tier rail fare is admissible for the SSB interview if appearing for the first time for particular type of commission. Candidates are required to bring photocopy of the first page of
pass book or cheque leaf where the name, A/C No. & IFSC details are mentioned, while appearing for SSB.

(g) Details of SSB procedure are available on the Indian Navy website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in.


How to Apply. 

Candidates are to register and submit their application on the recruitment website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in from 28 Jan 2023. To save time during the application submission window, candidates can fill in their details and upload documents in advance under their user profile. The procedure for applying online is explained below. 

(a) Online (e-application). Whilst filling up the e-application, it is advisable to keep the relevant documents readily available to enable the following:- 

   (i) Correct filling up of personal particulars details are to be filled up as given in the Matriculation Certificate/12th class certificate. 
   (ii) Fields such as e-mail address, and mobile number are mandatory fields and need to be filled.
 
b) All relevant documents (preferably in original), Date of Birth proof (as per 10th/12th certificates), 10th class marksheet, 12th class marksheet, JEE(Main)-2022 Score card {indicating Common Rank List (CRL)} and a recent passport size colour photograph should be scanned in original JPG/TIFF format, for attaching the same while filling up the application. Candidates are to take printout of application and carry it along with original certificates/ documents as mentioned in Para 10(b) while appearing for SSB interview. 

(c) If any scanned document is not legible/ readable for any reason the application will be rejected. 

 (d) The application once submitted will be final and no request for amendments/change will be entertained.
